A few days ago I sent off the last script for chapter 5 to Slockie for posing and rendering. This means that, aside from edits and proofreading, writing on Bare Witness is now complete.

However, there's still some ways to go before we hit the finish line: as mentioned, Slockie has a lot of posing and rendering to do, and there's already a fairly long queue since this chapter is fairly massive. The final script is about 87,000 words. Right now, the render count is nearly 7,200, with over 300 animations. Like I said: massive. Though, of course, that's split up over 11 endings.

What does that mean for release dates? Simply put, we don't have one yet. It's going to be a bit before we're ready to announce one. With the render queue having about a month's worth of nonstop rendering to do, we can't possibly offer up even a tentative window. Not without seriously risking missing that window. I'd rather we be firm on a date when we announce it.

Until then, we appreciate your patience. We are just as excited for you to play the final chapter of Bare Witness as you are to get to play it. We hope you'll find it worth the wait.
