Hello, all! Storm here.

Writing to let you all know what's currently going on with chapter 5. The script is 90% complete, and I'm about midway through the 10th of 11 endings. Slockie is only slightly behind me on renders, so once I've finished the 11th ending it will only be a short time after that we'll be ready to put the build into the hands of our beta testers.

Our current totals just for chapter 5:

69,000 word script

5,200 renders

250 animations

It was a massive undertaking for us, one that we won't be repeating in the future: our plans for our next game, Heaven's Door, will be to have shorter, but far more frequent, updates. But as this is the final one for Bare Witness, our patrons over on Patreon voted for it to be released all at once, so here we are. This means it'll soon be a year since our last update. We apologize for the length of the wait for chapter 5, but as you can see we've had our work cut out for us.

We'll be updating here again as soon as we're close to the finish line. In the meantime, thank you all for supporting the game here on Itch, and feel free to join us over on Patreon!
