After going exclusive with Val, I visited Mora and went "we need to end things", but the literal SCENE BEFORE Val's Mora stormed out after i said I didnt want to be exclusive with her. that was weird af and I assume is a relationship meter thing.
Sadie also says "I didnt know you had a girlfriend" After you literally tell her that you're getting serious with someone during the breakup scene

Yeah, I'm not sure I understand how the relationships are measured. For example, I told Athena that I wasn't interested, she stormed out and a few scenes later she was asking if we serious and my character said yes without a choice. I wouldn't have mind if I wasn't trying to be exclusive with Mora on this playthrough.

I managed to get through exclusive with Mora but I stared by never even showing an interest in anyone else.

So I've bought the game right on Steam.  And it has different soundtrack for copyright reasons I guess.
Question - is there any way to mod original music into the Steam version?

Just played through for the fist time and, while it started out rough – it’s definitely 5 stars. Rough because the two girls I liked the best in the preview pics were with each other and while I have absolutely nothing against lesbians, I don’t want to watch, participate or break them up so they were both out of the running in day 1. But it turned out to be a good thing – I went with Mora and absolutely feel no need to go again, unless it’s to repeat what I did before. She is an amazing character. Excellent job (and I’ve followed so I know when you have something new.)

I've got a major glitch. this only happens with the main executable, but sometimes the 32 bit is also affected.

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

Ren'Py 7.4.3.1414

Bare Witness 1.0.1

This is a fairly common (but not fixable on our end) Ren'Py version error. The best fix is to go into the folder of another Ren'Py game that you know works properly on your computer, copy the /renpy folder, and then replace the /renpy folder in the Bare Witness files. Hope that helps.

Alright, will do!

I figured out a much easier way to do this for anyone who is having the same problem. The only thing I had to do was to replace the renpy folder from the game with a renpy folder from another game that worked. That was it.

Oof. I just realized I had said /game instead of /renpy. My apologies, that was the worst kind of brain fart. I've fixed the comment, and I appreciate you correcting it.

Huh, an AVN based in my home town.  Never thought I'd see that haha

Oh, no. We are so sorry for how badly it's depicted. Just pretend it's an alternate reality. A very, very alternate reality.

Well the core details are spot on!  Cold, small and boring.  Nailed it!  Haha.  Also the restaurant details were funny.  Was it based on Mickey's or was that a complete coincidence?  Either way, thanks for showing it some love

Just finished the game. It was so much fun and so adorable! I just hope the cat has a happy ending too D:

Forefathers One and All,

Bare Witness !

Jokes aside, I love this game so much !!!  Really can't wait for the next one which is already WIP. So excited !

also I would like to ask what happened to the one in Steam, why is it so different from this and the one in Patreon ? Thank you

We had rights issues with the soundtrack that we used for the Itch and Patreon builds, necessitating entirely new music. But other than that, and the achievements and translations we've implemented, there aren't a lot of differences. Most are going to be superficial.

is the steam version included? or is there a difference between steam and itch?

Yes, the Steam version is now included.

Will any of your games have impreg?

Bare Witness does have pregnancies, depending on the path you choose, and Heaven's Door will have many pregnancies.
